Color Select

This is a small project I did in the course of an afternoon.  My Electrical Engineer friend came to me with the proposition that we work on a joint project together.  He had been wanting for some time to build a simple colored LED lamp which could be controlled via USB, but did not know how to make a program that could do so, which is where I came in.  I built a simple color wheel and got it communicating with the test device over USB, thus allowing the user to change the light color with the program.

Essentially it’s 3 gradients overlayed on top of one another, one for R G and B. This picture shows the basics for the Red gradient.

The Blue and Green gradients are the same just at different angles.

The final lamp is not finished yet, and therefore there are no pictures of it available.
